LLA will be open for submissions for literary and upmarket fiction and selected non-fiction projects from 1st September 2026.
We do not represent children’s, illustrated or commercial non-fiction.
We are always actively seeking new talent, fresh perspectives, and original voices. We take pride in discovering and nurturing new work, and while we can’t acknowledge receipt we do read every submission made to us. We try to read and respond within three months, but may take much longer in busy periods. Sometimes, it’s not possible for us to respond. Given the time it takes us to get to new submissions, we do encourage you to contact other agencies at the same time.
You should send your submission (in .doc or .docx format) via email directly to lucy@lucyluck.com.
If you have been referred to an agent by a trade or personal contact do say in your letter. Please make sure that your material is typeset so as to be clearly legible. Please remember to include your name and a contact number and email address on the first page of your manuscript.
