With writing anthologised in Modern Queer Poets and The Penguin Book of the Contemporary British Short Story, Eley Williams’ publications include The Liar’s Dictionary (William Heinemann, 2020) and two collections of fiction, most recently Moderate to Poor, Occasionally Good (4th Estate, 2024). In 2023 she was listed as one of Granta’s Best Young Novelists and has been a recipient of the James Tait Black Award for fiction and a Betty Trask Award. She is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
