About Us

Lucy Luck Associates

Lucy Luck Associates was established by Lucy Luck in 2026 and represents a list of prize-winning and bestselling writers of literary and upmarket fiction and selected non-fiction throughout the world, working in association with PEW Literary for translation rights and contract support and with respected partners across Film, TV and in North America. We also represent UK rights on behalf of a number of North American partners.

Lucy started in publishing as an assistant at Rogers, Coleridge & White before establishing her own agency in 2006, working in association with Aitken Alexander Associates. In 2016 she joined C&W and in 2026 she re-established Lucy Luck Associates with her list of authors. She is drawn to strong character, voice and place and to stories that surprise, transport and create conversation. Books that make her a reader include John McGaharn’s Amongst Women, Umberto Eco’s The Name of the Rose, William Maxwell’s So Long, See You Tomorrow, Ian Rankin’s Rebus series and Henning Mankell’s Sidetracked, Patrick Radden Keefe’s The Empire of Pain and John Jeremiah Sullivan’s Pulphead, Nancy Mitford’s Love in a Cold Climate and the stories of Somerset Maugham, Anne Enright and Roald Dahl. She would love to find a new literary crime voice or any story – fiction or non-fiction – brilliantly told.

Lucy’s authors have been shortlisted for and awarded numerous prizes, including the Booker Prize, the Rooney Prize, the Women’s Prize, the Guardian First Book Award, the Irish Book Awards, the Costa First Novel Award, the Nero Awards, the British Book Awards, the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award, the EFG Sunday Times Short Story Prize, the Goldsmiths Prize, the Impac Dublin Literary Award, the Orwell Prize for Fiction, the Desmond Elliott Prize, the Encore Award, the Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction, the Miles Franklin Award, the 5 Under 35, the Granta Best of Young British, the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, the Windham Campbell Prize and the Rathbones Folio Prize.
