Lucy Luck started in publishing in 1997, and worked for over 8 years at Rogers, Coleridge and White Ltd. In 2006, she set up Lucy Luck Associates, an agency focusing on writers of quality fiction and non-fiction, and in 2008 she joined with Aitken Alexander Associates as an associate agency. Her authors include Catherine O'Flynn (winner of the Costa First Novel Award 2007 and Galaxy Newcomer of the Year), Adam Thorpe, Kevin Barry (winner of the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Prize 2012), Amanda Smyth, Jess Richards, Richard Beard, Owen Martell, Ray Robinson, Greg Baxter, Jon Hotten and John Hooper.
Foreign rights and Film and TV rights are handled by Aitken Alexander Associates. American, Canadian and Australasian rights are handled by Lucy Luck, either directly or in association with experienced agents based in those territories.
